Prof. R.C. Sobti, Former Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Prof. Mukesh Arora,Prof. Parveen Goyal, Prof. Rajat Sandhir, Sh. Honey Thakur and other fellows; Er. Anil Thakur, Executive Engineer-II; Prof. Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examinations; Prof. Amit Chauhan, Dean Student Welfare, representatives of various Unions, Chairpersons and faculty of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, UIAMS, Biophysics and other departments graced the occasion.
Rose plants were planted at the inauguration by Prof. RenuVig and Prof. R.C. Sobti. Prof. Sobti narrated his efforts behind development of Sector 25 Campus and landscaping of the area. Prof. Vig appreciated the efforts of the Horticulture Division, Panjab University by saying that such green initiative on part of university helps us in getting closer to the nature and creating awareness about environment amongst the masses.
Er. Amandeep Singla, Assistant Engineer (Hort.) said that the Horticulture Division is constantly striving to make Campus Cleaner and Greener and has many projects in the pipeline to achieve its objective.
